FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS (I/II)
We'll be experiencing the Full Moon in the sign of Aquarius at 1 degrees on the 23rd/24th of July 2021.
This energy will be serving as a sort of energetic portal, if you are willing to receive and co-create with this cosmic configuration.
This Full Moon offers us an invitation to activation as this is the first of two Full Moon's in the sign of Aquarius.
We could interpret this as a metaphoric Aquarian club sandwich and we're embarking upon the grocery store to kitchen prep.
To make the most of this energy, let's be kind and VHS rewind back to February where we had the New Moon in Aquarius around the 11th. If you'd like to be extra, extra read all about it you can check out the blog post I wrote here.
In short, the February New Moon in Aquarius pertained to themes of revolutionising, de-centralising and restructuring ourselves and the collective at large.
For this first of two Aquarius Full Moon's - we can see this energy manifest as a culmination to the New Moon back in Feb: with stark, daring and bold change happening personally and collectively.
The main takeaway from this lunar illumination is (queue David Bowie) chh-chh-changes!
Moral of the Moon Cycle? If we resist these changes, we'll definitely feel the cost of this moving forward.
This Full Moon is about embracing and alchemising change: whether that is placed upon us externally or initiating changes within.
what is the cosmic influence play by play?

We have plenty of polarities at play particularly between Aquarius/Capricorn/Leo but also Cancer/Pisces and Virgo.
These sister signs are hashing out some serious sibling rivalry coming from a place of working through our hangups.
This ultimately leads us towards our personal growth and our destined path.
There are A LOT of aspects I'd like to explore and break down, particularly the opposition between Jupiter Retrograde at 0 degrees Pisces and Mars in Leo/Venus in Virgo. A.K.A the longer red lines in the chart above.
So, whats the buzz? In Astrology, 0 degrees is considered a critical or anaretic degree which in layman's term means a 'fckin-big-deal'. This is the degree of fresh starts and has a karmic flair in its expression. Especially since Jupiter is at home in the sign of Pisces, meaning that Jupiter energy works comfortably with ample awareness in this sign.
It is needless to say, this energy can be powerful.
The role of Jupiter is about bringing expansion, amplification, philosophy and abundance.
Paired with Mars in Leo, which is the way we express our drive, exertion and methodology PLUS Venus in Virgo: which represents our values, the ways in which we relate and express ourselves in a transpersonal manner - this fusion of flavour can activate our personality palettes via the ways we express ourselves (Leo energy) alongside classic Virgo discernment and pragmatism.
With Pluto's opposition to the Sun in tandem to this opposition between both Mars and Venus, this can translate into one of two ways: reaping cosmic blessings or a stark divine intervention.
Like a slide down a big ass snake after diligently climbing up the ladder of life. Or vice versa, a magical beanstalk shoots up out of nowhere which takes us to the next level. This is of course, dependent on how this energy plays out in our individual charts.
For this very reason, especially with Pluto Retrograde - this can unleash a lot of shadowy energy. Pluto represents the deep, dark and liminal crevices of our psyche. This is the planet of transformation, manipulation, jealousy, secrecy and possession.
Obviously, the ways in which we harness and work with this energy determines the outcome.
Awareness is everything.
The subconscious nature and realm of Neptune in Pisces significantly contributes to this energy.
Neptune will be making a trine to Mercury in Cancer (long blue line in the chart) which can manifest as bridging the emotionally charged ways in which we think + communicate with the illusory and subconscious realms of Neptune in Pisces.
Neptune will also be making a sextile to Pluto (conjunct Moon opposing the Sun) which can bring about interesting synchronicities 'out-of-nowhere' where things just sort of click. This 'out-of-nowhere'-ness will be emphasised with the classic Saturn square Uranus transit we've been experiencing throughout the year.
Mercury's opposition to Pluto will help us to get to the bottom of things relating to our emotional habits and traits as expressed with Cancerian energy versus the more societal constructs, structure and our psychological relationship to this with Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn.
Saturn Retrograde conjunct the Moon will be amplifying the seriousness + severity of this Lunar Cycle as Saturn is old school, traditional and disciplinary AF. Since it will be sitting next to the Moon which is our celestial body of all things totes-emosh there will be a welcomed sense of detachment which can be both favourable and beneficial considering the changes that can transpire.
To make things even more serious, Saturn will be making a trine to the North Node in Gemini which will be aligning us with our destined paths and pushing us into the direction of where we need to go moving forward.
To summarise, these energies suggest to relinquish control, allow things to play out as-and-when, harnessing the detachment of Aquarian energy as well as keeping an eye out for dynamics within and outside of ourselves.

These songs have been curated with what I feel capture this Lunar energy and the themes of the planetary influences we may experience, contemplate or consider.
Overall there is a mix of genres as per my playlists with a lyrical, melodic and rhythmic focus.
There is a mix of instrumental elements especially with the end of the first track which is No Doubt's 'Big Distraction'.
This song captures the Pluto opposition and influence we'll be experiencing this particular Lunar Cycle.
I love how it transitions into this reflective, cinematic string and piano arrangement for the second half of the track to kick off our cognitive contemplations.
It would be wise to listen to this playlist intentionally, listening to what lyrics and musical techniques pop out to you personally.
I am always pro-headphones, ambient lighting and sensory smells so I'd suggest all the incense, diffusers or candles and a journal to hand.
Notable lyrical elements I'd like to mention would be 'Dance Of The Clairvoyants' by Pearl Jam, Destiny's Child's 'Survivor', Ayla Nereo's 'Eastern Sun' and 'On and On' by Curtis Harding.
The entire playlist is thematic, lyrical gold as the intention behind this curation is a sonic interpretation of some of the collectively present energies. Deya Dova's 'Isles of the Great Goddess" is a beautiful journey of vocal overlay which I've added to connect to the Mercury/Neptune transit - so I'd be interested to see what thoughts, feels and visions arise as a result of listening to that track in particular!
The rest of the playlist revolves around themes of changes, processing our emotions around big interpersonal and situational changes plus the ways in which we can express ourselves when these life cycles occur, in a very typical Leo fashion.
