LUNAR ECLIPSE IN TAURUS

We'll be experiencing the Partial Lunar Eclipse in Taurus at 12 degrees on the 19th of November 2021. 

My interpretation of this Lunar Eclipse encourages us to feel the frustration and still carve space for hope with moderation.
To dive in and dissect ourselves, our dreams and seek solace in synchronicity.

If I could summarise the message into a song and its music video counterpart, it would be ‘Come Clean’ by Hilary Duff.

This energy will be most influential over the days leading up to, during and the following days after.

The overall influence can be experienced the following fortnight until the Solar Eclipse in the first week of December 2021.

You might be thinking, wow, look at those big red triangles in there.

And if you weren’t, I bet you are now. So what do these big red triangles have to do with anything?

Well this represents the main event of this partial Lunar Eclipse: the T-squares taking place between the Sun, Moon and Jupiter and we’ve also got the Saturn-Uranus square all up and activated with the appearance of Mars squaring Saturn and in opposition to Uranus.

You know that feeling of restriction, frustration and limitation we’ve been experiencing throughout 2021? Yeah, that ol’ thing. Again.

Even though things could feel stuck ’ n ’ stagnant as of late, we have this zesty twist in the cosmos as Jupiter squaring off with both the Sun and the Moon, it can bring a sweetness to the sour stalemate we’ve been experiencing.

A taste of this sweetness in its shadow can lead us to excess and seeking stimulation beyond ourselves. We may channel the illusion of confidence into overestimation towards our finances and fancies such as alcohol, drugs, gambling or relationships.

We are reminded that moderation is key and escapism from the feelings of restriction are short-lived.

So what do we do instead going all in? We go on the lookout. With the lunar nodes almost ready to swap its axis from Gemini/Sagittarius to Taurus/Scorpio, our sensitivities pick up on themes, clues and cues to what 2022 may have in store for us.

Eclipses are known to be a karmic time period, so we’ll be sipping that Karma Cola, which will reveal any themes or lessons in store.

Saturn’s square to Mars cements the additional frustration and feelings of restriction. 

Saturn’s influence dampens the ability to express our passions and desires. It’s like when someone turns down the volume of something you want to hear - the lack increases our need and desire.

Saturn represents the authority or archetypical father figures. This energy encourages discipline, refinement and perseverance. Especially with the Saturn/Uranus activation we’ve experienced this year, we may really be feeling restricted from achieving our goals as we envisioned and feeling the weight of circumstances that hinder our progress, completely outside of our control. 

This influence encourages us to step away from the offence back into defence. Remember to unload the gun.
If we internalise the rejections, limitation and restriction faced so far, we can become a danger to ourselves and others. 

Lean into our self-regulation rituals to safely channel these strong emotions. It is important they are expressed and not pent up inside of us. Projection and protection of our energy is achieved through adopting the perception of patience and perseverance. 

This is not the time to start new projects in search of desire but to really refine and hone in on what we already have. 

With Mars’ opposition to Uranus, there is potential for any buried and repressed rage from our past to rise up to surface. 

Especially since Mars and Uranus are currently in fixed signs: this stubbornness and resentment can feel hard to contain. 
Mars in Scorpio’s stinger seethes the poison of past hurts, desperate to be transmuted.

The qualities of disruption and the unexpected that Uranus beholds unleashes and activates the explosive nature of this transit.
We can see this manifest as impulsiveness, recklessness and a desire to break free of responsibilities or any obligations.

We could also see this transpire as unexpected conflict or attacks towards our character, lifestyle choices or goals from others. 

Fixed sign energy loves to keep receipts. Taxes aside, receipts have their limits.
It would be wise to harness this disruptive energy as inspiration for a strategic game plan rather than lashing out of provocation.

Know your triggers and your limits. Communicate boundaries and needs to create the freedom of choice in our best interest rather than acting out from irrational places, inhibiting our freedom and doing the exact opposite of what we actually want. 

Take the time to empty our guns and put the safety on rather than jumping to our trigger.

Temptations to blow sh!t up could potentially run high with this cosmic configuration.
Our reactions most certainly won’t be blanks but rather loaded with karmic consequence. 

Venus in Capricorn’s Trine to Uranus will inspire us innovate our values and passions. Capricorn energy is diligent and methodical, constantly calculating projections for investment. Not usually one for spontaneity, the innovative Uranian energy will influence the Capricornian expression, itching us to reinvigorate in amongst the tension and frustrations from the other influences. 

This energy can be channelled constructively through socialising and experimenting with our creativity. 

How can we re-establish our interests, passions or relationships? 
How can we add a fresh and familiar flair to our routines and expression? 

Capricorn energy is all about building towards better with no hesitation to refine or restrict as it is ruled by Saturn.

This would be a good time to reawaken any passions, hobbies or friendships that have fallen to the wayside. 

Especially with Venus’ sextile to Mars really heightens the socialising energy.

It balances and blends assertion and confidence into a true happy hour cocktail.
This energy blesses us with creativity, charisma and charm.

We are encouraged to highlight and express our passions and creativity fearlessly in true Mars in Scorpio nature. Venus in Capricorn’s influence oozes dedication and pairs up with the drive of Mars in Scorpio. This allures others to our sparkling flame. 

Neptune’s trine to both the Sun and Mercury will be cranking up our sensitivities, creativity and spirituality. 

This transit activates our antenna tuning into inspiration. With both the Sun and Mercury in Scorpio, like the scorpion detecting the vibrations of the environment - Neptune will have us all out here like lil’ scorpions tuning into our environment and indulging in our fantasies. 

Our moral compass re-magnetised, we’ll want to stay true to our ideals and visions.

We’ll be longing to communicate and bond over our visions for the future: leading with empathy, understanding and interconnection. Our path to success is illuminated by synchronicities, self-belief and any other psychic impressions picked up from our antennas, so tuning in is an understatement and obvious advice.

As our senses become fine tuned under this influence, we’ll be blessed with ability to communicate effectively both verbally and non-verbally. Our spidey senses tingling, adept with precision to the bigger picture. 

This is an excellent time to work with music, poetry, dance, film or acting and to share these ideas with others. 

Sun conjunct Mercury puts our focus into communications, curiosity and the exchange of ideas.

However, the Moon’s opposition to Mercury can scramble our thoughts and feelings, which can feel challenging to express. 

We may have the tendency to cross our own internal wires, jumping from logical analysis to irrational theoretics mid sentence. 

Needless to say, anxiety, confusion and lack of understanding can be at an all time high and the influence will be strongest at the time of this Eclipse, tapering off over the following days.

It may be difficult to relax so rather than resisting and getting critical with ourselves over the lack of chill, this opposition presents us with a perfect opportunity to reflect. 

Spend some time with the abstractions and express them through journalling or notes on our phone.
It doesn’t need to make sense now but it will be helpful to look back for hindsight purposes.

As much as we pretend things are linear, we know they aren’t. We can use this opportunity to hold that space for our infinite nature. 

The Moon’s trine to Pluto will also be charging up that sensitivity and psychic perception, playing into Neptune’s influence and interaction to the Sun and Mercury. We’ll be feeeeeelliiiiing everything, moved and transformed by our inner emotional realms. 

This transit deepens and intensifies our interactions both consciously and subconsciously, encouraging us to explore the areas of our subconscious, our hidden, unchartered emotional terrain. That’s right. Shadow work. 

Spend some time in meditation, reflection and contemplation. Light those candles and incense. Make that magical drink and honour yourself with openness and curiosity rather than judgement and criticism. Don’t be afraid to ask the how’s and why’s - it is through this process of questioning that answers can intuitively reveal themselves. 

With the Sun also making a sextile to Pluto - we’ll be feeling that need to succeed.

This powerful transit gives us the boost to transform and influence our own selves.

With great power, comes great responsibility, so it is something to keep in mind when exploring and pursuing our goals and dreams.

There are very real consequences to abusing and misusing our power. Hello, just look at the Government and the state of the NHS.
As we use our power to strengthen ourselves and help the collective, we all win in ways we couldn’t fathom.
